I. K. Curtis Services, Inc. (IKCS) is full service aerial photography firm. We have the largest fleet of aircraft, full-time flight crews, and cameras in the southwest. We take great pride in our quality of photography and flight services. Also, we provide mapping, ortho-photo, or multi-spectral products through our strong relationships with other key companies. Our aircraft excel in medium and large area projects, yet we still provide the same quality and personal service to the smallest of jobs..

IKCS has the largest fleet of aircraft, flight crews, and cameras in the Southwest. Our aircraft and crew are highly efficient. The extra fuel capacity is valuable for larger projects, giving us the advantage of capturing the maximum number of photos in a single flight. Our camera optics are of the highest quality  customers have stated our cameras are the best on the West Coast. Our flight crews are extraordinary, and have over 20,000 combined aerial photography flight hours. We especially excel in medium and large area projects, yet we still provide the same quality service to the smallest of areas.

Our aircraft are often used by other firms as platforms for research and development of airborne sensors and specialized equipment. Our mechanics are skilled to equip the planes to match all customer requirements.

I.K. Curtis Services also offers unique photography using cameras largely unavailable to other companies. This includes three 16 mega-pixel digital cameras, oblique cameras and a variety of large format cameras (up to 9x18 negatives). We can deliver all of our photography on nearly any media including CDs and Air Photo USA PhotoMapper software, which is ready for immediate implementation into your GIS system.

Our stock library consists of over 30,000 negatives, going back annually to the early 1970s and covering San Luis Obispo County to the Mexican border, and from the Pacific Ocean into parts of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. In the last five years, we have additional coverage throughout California, including Kern County, Sacramento, San Francisco, Sonoma, and the Coachella Valley. We have facilities at our corporate office for photo review.

IKCS is an authorized distributor for AirPhotoUSA in California, permitting us to offer off-the-shelf CDs of the stock imagery listed above. We can also print digital mosaics and add custom graphics to meet every customer request.

IKCS was founded in 1969 by Joan and Ivan Curtis and is a small, closely held, woman and veteran owned California Corporation. Joan is President and Chief Financial Officer and owns the majority of stock. There are no other officers of the corporation.

Our corporate offices are located at 2501 Burbank Boulevard suite 301, in Burbank, California, while the hangar facilities are on the Burbank Airport, only a mile away.
